Chandra Janway Wikipedia, Parents, Sibling, Net Worth, Age, Height -: The parents and nephew of racing car star Jimmie Johnson’s wife Chandra Janway Johnson were reportedly killed on Monday at a home in Muskogee, Oklahoma, according to a press release from the Muskogee Police Department. A police spokeswoman suggested that there may have been a murder-suicide.

A woman called 911 on Monday and said “someone” had a gun before hanging up, according to the press release.

When officers arrived on the scene, they reportedly found a person lying in the hallway just inside the front door. When the police arrived, they immediately heard a second gunshot coming from a deeper part of the house.

According to the news statement, “Officers conducted a rescue operation to free the individual who was laying in the corridor and determined the victim was dead. The officers additionally shouted for anyone else inside the home to “come outside.”

Once enough police officers arrived on the site, two more bodies were found inside the house, according to the press statement.

Authorities identified the deceased as being Jack Janway, 69, his wife Terry Janway, 68, and their 11-year-old grandson Dalton Janway.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the car racing team Legacy Motor Club, Johnson won’t be taking part in this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series event in Chicago. The club claims that the Johnson family has asked for privacy at this time and that no more announcements will be made.

“It was traumatizing to learn that a long-standing family who had made so many contributions to our community were involved in this type of incident,” said Mayor Marlon Coleman to CNN station KOKI. “It was even more chilling when we learned that children were involved.”
