Gillie Da Kid News
Police in Philadelphia think that the boy slain in a triple shooting that occurred in the city’s Olney neighborhood on Thursday night was the son of well-known local rapper and podcaster Gillie Da King.
Just before 8:30 o’clock in the evening, a shooting took place close to the intersection of Mascher Street and Nedro Avenue.
When the police arrived, they discovered two gunshot victims, including a 25-year-old guy who had been wounded in the back, about a block away. The man who had been shot in the rear was declared dead at Einstein Medical Center after those two were taken there.
The 25-year-old victim was YNG Cheese, Gillie’s son, according to numerous witnesses who were present at the crime scene. As Thursday night’s tributes to the musician flooded social media, police are still attempting to corroborate that.
“Little because I generally have a lot to say you when I speak to you. My heartache and tears tonight communicated to you. You have my undying love. Wallo, Gillie’s cousin and cohost on the podcast, wrote on Instagram, “I got your father, rest well.
Gillie has used the alias Gillie Da Kid in the past.
A 28-year-old male and a 31-year-old man who were also injured in the shooting are both in stable condition at Einstein.
The three guys were shot, and police are still investigating who shot them and why.
Gillie himself hasn’t communicated with us yet. At Franklin Music Hall on the following Saturday night, he is slated to host Gillie Fest. It’s a comedy and concert in celebration of his birthday.
There is currently no information available regarding the show’s future.
