Jann Mardenborough Bio

He made effective use of his preparation by performing well at the Academy, earning a spot on the reality series GT Academy, which involved driving for Nissan at the Dubai 24 Hour circuit and racing in real races in actual cars. He transferred his gaming knowledge to the real world, and as soon as he got behind the wheel, he developed a racing addiction.
Jann continued on to drive for a living after switching to Formula Racing. He participated in the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand in 2013 at the age of 21 and came in 10th.
He came in third place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans later that year. He came in second place in the Toyota Racing Series in 2014. In the 2016 Japanese Formula 3 Championship, he came in second place on the podium. While participating in the VLN endurance event at the German Nürburgring in 2015, Jann was fatally injured in an accident. When his Nissan GT3 Nismo exited the track and hit the crowd, one fan was killed and countless others were hurt.
