Gurpatwant Singh Pannu Death

Whether he is alive or not, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun founded Sikh For Justice (SFJ). Rumors suggest that the founder of SFJ and a pro-Khalistan activist were killed in a car accident in the US.

However, The Khalsa Today’s founder, CEO, and editor-in-chief Sukhi Chahal refuted the rumors of Pannu’s demise. Chahal asserted that the SFJ’s head was “alive.”

“I would like to emphasize that the information on the alleged car accident in my area in California and the demise of SFJ’s Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is false and fabricated. Please refrain from spreading his erroneous information, Chahal gently requested in a tweet.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun was formally designated as a terrorist by the Indian government on July 1, 2020, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Pannun gained notoriety in various Western nations for orchestrating the Khalistan 2020 referendum.

He actively promoted anti-Indian sentiment and made an attempt to recruit Sikh kids from his native Punjab into his terrorist endeavors, demonstrating a great desire to destabilize India through his actions. The SFJ is well known for its support of Khalistan, a distinct homeland that the Sikh community aspires to.

According to reports, Pannu is currently included in 22 criminal proceedings, three of which center on allegations of sedition in India. The Punjabi village of Khankot, which is a part of the Amritsar district, is where Pannu, a resident of the United States, is from. He is recognized as one of the founding members of the SFJ group, which was established in October 2007.

Separatist Amritpal Singh just lost his primary handler, Avtar Singh Khanda. But the exact reason for this death is still a mystery. Other tales have it that he died of food poisoning. His medical history suggested that he might be suffering from food poisoning.

A Khalistani billboard that claimed Sanjay Kumar Verma, India’s High Commissioner to Ottawa, and Apoorva Srivastava, India’s Consul General to Toronto, were the “killers” of Khalistan Tiger Force leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar sparked outrage in India.

On June 18 in Surrey, Canada, Nijjar, the head of the pro-Khalistan groups Khalistan Tiger Force and Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) Canada, was shot and killed.

The posters were made available a month after supporters of Khalistan honored the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star by displaying a tableau of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi with blood on her clothes and a billboard that said, “Revenge of attack on Shri Darbar Sahib.”
