Saggese’s selection places him among the highest draught picks in school history, trailing only Tom Eshelman and former Anaheim Angels player Troy Glaus, both of whom were chosen in the second round of their respective draughts out of CHS in 1994 and 2015, respectively.
Saggese has chosen Pepperdine University as his college.
The next level should also project as a shortstop, according to Savicki’s star shortstop.
