Jim Starr News
The longest-running American Gladiator, Jim Starr (Laser), shocked his fans on June 28 by confessing that he frequently went into roid rages while filming the well-liked action-packed series from the 1980s. In the upcoming Netflix documentary series Muscles & Mayhem, the celebrity acknowledged utilizing drugs to gain more body weight for his bouts with other competitors.
Jim alleged that while they were enjoying their victory, he and Nitro’s Dan Clark character got into a dispute over who could change the music channel on the latter’s red jeep. Their verbal spat went violent when they shoved and Starr smacked Dan in the face.
The two 240-pound men stopped the car and got into a brawl in the middle of the road while under the influence of drugs and adrenaline. After being placed in a headlock, Jim bit Clark in the cheek. This is not permitted in boxing, so Dan promptly let him go.
Clark struck Jim in the eye for biting him just as he was about to get up using his hand and acknowledge that he had done what was necessary to win. After that, they hugged and carried on with the celebration as if nothing had happened, despite the fact that everyone could see the two men’s injuries.
After the show finished, Jim Starr, who had been a member of all seven seasons, was left by himself at a Quiet Woman pub. The following morning, when he awoke, he recalled learning from his wife that he was being transferred to jail. Starr allegedly passed out after drinking too much and giving a person a really hard punch. Jim’s knuckles were covered in blood at the time, and he thought he had severely injured a man.
He was frightened of going to jail after that, but no one called, suggesting that he didn’t file a complaint. Jim decided to rethink his strategy and begin from scratch. He submitted an application for a low-paying job at Apex Fitness and worked his way up the corporate ladder until he was eventually connected to numerous fitness-related firms.
