A Georgia mayor was arrested and charged with burglary and criminal trespassing on Saturday, which made it possible for one of the five members of the city council who had sued the mayor this year to temporarily take his place.
The mayor of South Fulton in metro Atlanta, Khalid Kamau, was accused of first-degree burglary and criminal trespassing. On the same day, he was freed after posting bail bonds for $11,000.
