Kirsten Watson News

On the most recent edition of Her Huddle, sideline reporter for the NFL Kirsten Watson talks with Hannah Wilkes about the different parts of her broadcasting career and how the Los Angeles Rams assisted her in winning a Super Bowl ring.

Watson began her career as a production assistant on the NFL’s features team prior to joining NFL International. She was able to tour the world as a result, including the UK.

She currently works inside the stadium as a reporter and host for the Rams. She also works for the LA Dodgers to cover Major League Baseball and hosts Channel 5’s Monday Night Football coverage. Watson joined the Rams just in time for the team’s 2021 Super Bowl victory, and she even got a ring as a keepsake.

But as someone who was only a team member at the time, the organization did a really fantastic job of making you feel like a part of the collective. The team’s guiding principle, “We, not me,” is written on our rings.

It proves that we are powerless to do this on our own. But when we work together, we may achieve things that are much beyond anything we could have imagined.

Watson, a person of color, spoke on the program about her role as a role model for young girls and people from minority backgrounds.

She proclaimed, “We women are all in this together.” Knowing you’re not alone might be a source of comfort. In this region, we have all felt both happiness and sorrow.
