LAURENCE Basse, who broke down in tears while discussing her terrible backstory, won Thursday night’s challenge on Project Runway All Stars.
Laurence broke down in tears as she recalled how difficult her life was during the 1990s as the designers collaborated to produce mini-collections that were inspired by the decade.
When she became pregnant at age 16, she told the host Christian Siriano that her father had abandoned her. She later stated in a sad confession that she soon enrolled in fashion school, adding, “Fashion probably saved my life.”
