Nicola Forrest News
Considered Australia’s richest couple, Andrew and Nicola Forrest have announced their split. The companies said the split would not affect mining company Fortescue Metals or other projects. “After 31 years of marriage, we have decided to separate,” the couple said in a joint statement.
“The friendship and devotion to our family remain strong.” “Operations, control, and command of Fortescue, Minderoo, and Tataran are unaffected.” The couple tried to instill a sense of stability in the midst of big changes.
“We have a collective commitment to creating and donating wealth to address community and global challenges, as demonstrated by our donation of one-fifth of our Fortescue shares to the Minderoo Foundation last month.
We will continue our mission,” they said. According to the Australian Financial Review, the approval means Forrest will transfer half of her stake in flagship Tataran to Forrest, with Fortescue shares worth more than $1.1 billion going to her new company, Co-Axial.
It was done after being transferred to Ventures. Ms. Forrest, commonly known as “Twiggy,” founded her first mining company, Anaconda Her Nickels (now Minarari Resources), in 1994.

With an estimated fortune of $31.44 billion, he remains Australia’s second richest person on the latest AFR billionaire list.
Only mining tycoon Gina Reinhart is wealthy at $44.33 billion.
After amassing billions of dollars in mining, the Forrests founded the philanthropic Minderoo Foundation in 2001.
His responsibilities in recent years included environmental projects and providing Australia with millions of COVID-19 tests early in the pandemic.
Last month, the Forrests donated one-fifth of Fortescue Metals’ stock, or nearly $5 billion, to Minderoo.
