Pratik Doshi is an Indian civil servant who works as an Officer-on-Special Duty (OSD) in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Due to his tight relationship with Narendra Modi, Pratik is referred to as the “eyes and ears of the Prime Minister”. In June 2023, he made waves when he wed Vangmayi Parakala, the Indian Finance Minister’s daughter Nirmala Sitharaman.

Career
Doshi worked at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He was assigned to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in New Delhi in 2014 after Modi was elected as India’s 14th prime minister. Doshi was appointed as the OSD (Research & Strategy) on June 14, 2023, following his appointment as joint secretary in the PMO. Doshi is credited for helping to develop the government of India’s policy banning the use and sale of plastic bags in that country.
