A portion of Pravesh Shukla’s (30) home in Madhya Pradesh was torn down by authorities on Wednesday. Shukla was detained late on Tuesday night after being accused of urinating on a tribal guy. The Congress brought up Pravesh’s relationship with BJP Siddhi MLA Kedarnath Shukla when a video from three months earlier showing the alleged incident surfaced, and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanded harsh punishment for him.
After several police teams searched the Siddhi district, Shukla was detained. District Magistrate Saket Malviya used the National Security Act (NSA) against Shukla after his detention, as the Chief Minister had requested in a tweet the day before.

Bulldozers appeared at Shukla’s house after the NSA, despite the objections of his family. They begged the administration, saying that Shukla’s father and other family members owned the house. Additionally, they requested that the administration take action against the accused without also targeting his family and their belongings.
In his father’s words, there was “a conspiracy to trap us” and the aforementioned film was a forgery. “Our boy just can’t do that,” he declared.
District officials stated that 400 square foot illegal encroachments had been destroyed.
“NSA has been invoked, a bulldozer has been run, and if needed, Mama ji will bury criminals 10 feet below the ground,” tweeted Chouhan later. The message from Mama Ji is crystal clear, thus anyone with bad intentions should think ten times before committing a crime in Madhya Pradesh.
Narottam Mishra, the state’s minister of the interior, had stated: “The law is doing its work. The man was taken into custody. There is law and order because the BJP is in power. The Chief Minister requested an NSA inquiry after learning about the situation. The unauthorized encroachments will be plowed under by the bulldozer.
In the meantime, the Congress persisted in pressing the BJP on the matter. Chouhan was admonished by Kamal Nath, the head of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, not to “give protection to people” who were torturing tribal people.
“After watching the footage of a BJP leader urinating on a tribal youth in Sidhi district, my spirit trembled. Tribals are being attacked in this occurrence. I caution the Shivraj government to quit protecting those who commit atrocities against the tribal society. The Congress party supports the tribal people and will keep delivering justice to them, according to Nath.
Although the Siddhi MLA has denied Shukla’s claims that he is an associate, he told The Indian Express that Shukla is “not my representative or even a BJP member.”
He never belonged to the BJP. These charges are untrue, the MLA claimed.
Former Madhya Pradesh minister Arun Yadav tweeted an apparent BJP appointment letter and a newspaper article praising Shukla for being chosen to represent the MLA in the meanwhile.
Shukla is the BJYM mandal vice-president, and Kedarnath Shukla, an MLA, has appointed him as his representative, Yadav tweeted.
A four-person committee headed by Ramlal Routel, chairperson of the Tribal Development Authority, was established by the state BJP unit’s president V D Sharma in the interim to investigate the incident.
Yadav criticized the committee’s establishment by asking, “Is V D Sharma leading a parallel administration in MP in front of Shivraj? Does the group currently also lack faith in the government? Now that the group and the government are at war, everyone can see it.
