Where Was Rudy Farias Found? Missing, Update -: Eight years after going missing as a teen, a Texas guy was recently discovered sleeping outside a church.
According to officials, a man from Houston who went missing as a juvenile more than eight years ago was discovered resting in front of a nearby church.

According to a brochure about missing people released by the Texas Centre for the Missing, Rudolph “Rudy” Farias IV has been missing since March 6, 2015.
According to a police spokesperson, the Houston Police police responded to the church in east Houston after receiving a call for assistance on June 29 and later confirmed that the person was Farias.
Officials did not provide any other information on Farias’ past whereabouts or what precipitated the call that allowed him to be reunited with his family, so it is unclear where he has been throughout the years.
He is “receiving the care he needs to overcome his trauma,” according to a statement released by his mother, Janie Santana.
According to the statement, Farias cannot speak to his family because he is nonverbal.
The family statement stated that they had no further information on the man’s situation and that he had been discovered by a good Samaritan who had dialed 911.
According to Houston Fire Chief Sam Pea, the Houston Fire Department arrived at the scene at the police’s request. Pea reported that Farias’ mother was present when they arrived.
According to Pea, crews evaluated Farias but he resisted being brought to a hospital. According to him, Farias’ mother signed a document stating that she would not allow her son to be transported. Farias was then put in the care of his family and the police, according to Pea.
According to authorities, Farias had a piece of identification on him when he was first discovered. He called that relative and his mother showed up, according to the authorities.
The Texas Centre for the Missing would only inform CNN that its focus is on the missing person and their family and declined to comment on the circumstances surrounding Farias’ discovery.

Nearly 360,000 complaints of missing children were filed to the FBI in 2022, according to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children; this number may include duplicate reports.
The Missing Persons Unit of the police force has expressed interest in speaking with Farias and his family but has not been able to do so as of Monday morning, the spokeswoman added.
Farias will be interviewed by investigators on Wednesday, according to the police. The situation is still being looked into.
